On Sunday November 18th , the Orange Coast Optimist Octagons assembled 50 Thanksgiving bags at the Magnolia Park Family Resource Center in Garden Grove. We had over 50 Octagons participate along with 25 parents. Trader Joe’s generously
donated 100 bags for our project. These bags contained canned goods, fresh produce, bread, a pie, and a turkey. They were then distributed to 50 families in Garden Grove, Buena Park, Stanton, Santa Ana, and Orange. Thank you to the Orange Coast Optimist families who donated canned goods. We collected over 1,300 cans to
distribute to the 50 families.
