Congratulations to Mikayla Reyes!

Mikayla was one of six student athletes to receive the Spectrum SportsNet Championship Drive Scholar Athlete scholarship for $2500.

She finished her senior year with a 4.75 weighted GPA and graduated Magna Cum Laude in her class. She was a 4 year Varsity Basketball player at El Modena high school and was team captain her junior and senior year.

During her senior year, Mikayla was ASB Secretary and also served as Club President of the National Honor Society at El Modena. Throughout high school, she was an active
participant in OCO Octagons and was Historian during her sophomore year.

She also volunteered as a babysitter at Casa Teresa, a home for mothers in crises, local beach clean ups, and Habitat for Humanity builds in the Greater Los Angeles area.

In the Fall, Mikayla will be attending UC Santa Barbara where she will be taking classes for her Biology major.
