   COACHES:

• Modified Schedule for Feb. 6 and 13, see SCHEDULES...

• A reminder that NO food or drinks are allowed in the gyms other than water and there is NO smoking on campus.  We have also been asked to give out the after-practice snacks outside the gym.  If you see a spill or trash in the gym, please help clean it up.  We are "new tenants" at these gyms and want to show we keep "our house" clean so we will be invited back.  This is extremely important given the increased difficulty in securing gym time

• Remember Coaches' Meeting 30 minutes prior to practice. These are mandatory coaches meetings. All OCO coaches are expected to attend! Tinko coaches need to pull out five baskets (two in the Boys gym). PWL coaches need to pull out one basket for their practice, and at the end of the PWM practice, PWM coaches need to pull out two baskets and place in the Boys gym. And the last group of the day, please DO NOT PULL UP THE BLUE TAPE. We need it for the SEYO games on Sunday. Thanks!

• Last Ball Handling Clinic Jan. 31... Feb. 7 Super Bowl; Feb. 14 Valentine's Day

• OCO Chapman Night - Set for Saturday, Feb. 6, 7:00 PM at Chapman University . Our kids are the half-time show and they will have a great time showing off their basketball skills. Our own Mike Bokosky is the Men's basketball coach at Chapman. Coaches need to think about what drill they want their division to do during their part of the half time show. Should be a drill done at practice each week. Tinkos will be dribbling to 1/2 court and back. We need players to do "two-ball" drills. That is a highlight for the crowd. OCO kids wear their jerseys and the entire family gets in for free! Please mark your calendar! Modified practice schedule that day. Last practice done by 5:00pm.

• OCO Casino Night – "The Best of Michael Jackson" – Ticket will be available for purchase/ processing at the table inside the Boys gym during practices starting this Saturday, so please sell / purchase at least two Casino Night tickets and support our largest fundraiser of the year. Four tickets per family would be great! Date is Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, 6-11pm at OCBC. Please see attached flyers and forms. We are also in need of Casino Night sponsors. The sponsor form (Casino Night Sponsor Form) so you can see the different sponsorship levels and what is included. Perhaps your company could be a sponsor (Donation Letter). This would be a wonderful worthy cause! Come enjoy a wonderful evening of food, friendship and fun. Net proceeds help pay for our usage of the Loara gyms each Saturday. • Year-End Basketball Awards Banquets - Tinko banquet scheduled for after practice on Sat., Feb. 20, hopefully at Loara HS 2:30-4:00pm. SEYO season teams are scheduled for Sat., Feb. 27, times and place to be determined. It is a potluck banquet for the SEYO season teams. More info to come. In the meantime, please mark your calendar!
